This time Alice Fox joined forces with Rebeka Rajsek and with the help of homelandproduction.com they produced the synthwave cover of Listen To Your Heart by Roxette. It was my pleasure to produce the music video for it. Enjoy the video and read further to get a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes.
For the music video we stayed true to the Alice’s 80’s retro style. This time I invested some time to learn basics of the Blender, a 3D modeling and animation tool, which was used to create the intro and some other clips. For a few outro clips I created a spinning platform on which Alice and Rebeka were standing while it was spinning, creating the interesting parallax effect. To reduce the expenses of the production I created the LED tubes and controller myself. At editing stage I was joined by Laura Ribič who helped as an Assistant editor. Laura was also responsible for the retro-inspired make-up. A thank you also goes to Tilen Lorien for the help on set. It was a blast working on this music video. My only regret is that we haven’t managed to capture more behind-the-scene photos. Alice will also edit a short BTS video in the future. Until then, look below for few photos we managed to capture.
